Quoth Tenacious D, "It's a CREAM Dream!"

In conjunction with our print partners and pals over at the Nashville Scene's blog Nashville Cream, we have held two slots on this year's Next BIG Nashville for the CREAM's readers to tell us what artists they think we overlooked. The CREAM readers supplied some great suggestions last year and a number of those factored into the selections for '08 so we thought we'd speed up the process this year and actually give them a couple of slots to fill.

You'll notice the POLL question at the top right-hand side of the blog. Take a second to vote - choose two - and don't forget that polling ends at Noon, Fri., Aug. 22.

I'm pretty sure there's some browser refreshing/re-voting going on here. . .way too many votes in too short a time. . .

VOTE for GoodMorning Powerheart!

Goodmorning Powerheart should take this in landslide. They are by far the best local band that doesn't get enough recognition.

Some of these bands must have a lot of free time to self-vote!

It looks like some of these bands are doing a great job of voting for themselves!

i think that some bands are cheating! unless there is some other way that 13,00 people voted between Monday night and Thursday morning! It may be possible but it just seems unlikely.

Looks like someone found out how to use Automator for Mac to do a little (or a lot) of cheating. What a shame.

Check the votes, unrealistic. Nobody on the list of bands that you can vote for would get 13,000 0r 9000 votes. A simple autobot on your computer to clear your browser, then vote again. Obviously at least 3 of the bands new this. I'd be checkin me some IP addresses!

I thought voting was supposed to end at noon. This thing seems pretty unorganized. And who knew Evil Bebos was so popular with themselves?
